Mexicana Shawl with Sleeves
My last “Mexicana”, made for The International Crafts Fair in Mexico City, has sleeves which keep the shawl in place. With its unique look and 3/4 sleeves, this exceptional shawl features a little different look than the ones we are used to. Crocheted in fillet technique, in a pattern similar to those of our grandmothers’ tablecloths, it will take us back to long past times with the sophisticated, retro look. The shawl can be worn with the front edges falling freely, they can be attached with a broach, tied at the back at waistline, or one end can be pulled through one of the wholes of the other end in the pattern itself, forming a bow.
The Most Popular Item
“Duchess” shawl is currently the most popular item in this category. This piece was made in several colours – light grey, dark grey, grey with silver thread added, gold, and bronze. With the dark grey and golden variations, the customers ordered fingerless gloves, which can also be a part of the set with this lavish shawl.
