Kapa Kačkereta plete se odozdo nagore, počevši od rebraste ranfle. Ostatak kape se radi u glat bodu. Kada se isplete gornji deo kape, vizir se štrika odvojeno. Vizir je dupliran, i obe njegove strane su ojačane lepljivim platnom na naličju, a zatim je našiven na kapu. Poslednji korak podrazumeva uvlačenje lastiša u rebrastu ranflu i prišivanje ukrasnog dugmeta.
Redosled boja
Primetićete da se plava i žuta varijanta kape malo razlikuju prema redosledu boja. Plava kapa ima vizir roze boje, dok je vizir žute varijante ispleten osnovnom bojom. Osim toga, kontrastne pruge na ove dve kape takođe se razlikuju – roze linije kod plave kape nalaze se između dve sekcije rebraste mustre, ali u slučaju žute kape, kontrastne pruge su u okviru obe rebraste mustre. Vi ćete, razume se, izabrati varijantu koja Vam se više sviđa.
Uputstvo u daljem tekstu dato je za plavu varijantu Kačkerete. Ukoliko se odlučite za žuto-crnu kombinaciju, kontrastne (crne) pruge pletite na sekcijama rebrastih mustri, a sve ostale sekcije radite osnovnoj bojom (žutom).

K2tog tbl – Oduzimanje 1 petlje na levo. 2 petlje isplesti zajedno pravo, ali iglu ubosti u zadnji beočug obe petlje.
K3tog – Oduzimanje 2 petlje na desno. 3 petlje isplesti zajedno pravo.

[:en]General information about the pattern
Kachkereta cap is knitted bottom up, starting from the ribbed edge. The rest of the cap is completed in stockinette stitch. After knitting the crown and top, the visor is knitted separately. The visor is double-sided, and both of its sides are reinforced with fusible interfacing on the wrong side and then the folded visor is sewn to the cap. The final steps include inserting the elastic band in the ribbed edge and sewing a decorative button.
Colorwork
You will notice that the blue and yellow variations of Kachkereta cap are a bit different concerning the color order. The blue cap has the visor knitted in pink, while the yellow cap has the visor made in the main color. Apart from that, contrasting lines of the two caps also differ – the pink lines of the blue cap are between two sections of ribbed stitch but in the case of the yellow cap, the contrasting black lines are done on the ribbed sections themselves. Naturally, you can choose the variation you like best.
Instructions in further text are given for the blue and pink variation. If you opt for the yellow and black combination, knit the contrasting (black) stripes on ribbed sections, and work all other sections in main color (yellow).
Special Stitches
Stockinette stitch – Flat knitting: knit all stitches on the right side, purl all stitches on the wrong side; Round knitting: knit all stitches in all rounds
Rib stitch 1/1 – K1, P1 on an even number of sts (repeat to the end of row)
SKP – Slip, knit, pass over (decreasing 1 stitch with pass over, right lean): slip 1 stitch to the right needle, knit the next stitch, pass over the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
K2tog – Knit 2 together (decreasing 1 stitch, right lean): knit 2 sts together
K2tog tbl – Knit 2 together through back loop (decreasing 1 stitch, left lean): knit 2 sts together but insert the needle into the back loops
K3tog – Knit 3 stitches together (decreasing 2 stitches, right lean): knit 3 sts together
K3tog tbl – Knit 3 stitches together through back loop (decreasing 2 stitches, left lean): knit 3 sts together but insert the needle into the back loops
