Inspiracija za ovu kapu bio je tradicionalni grčki ribarski kačket koji je ponovo postao popularan i počeo da se viđa po gradu. Baš kao i originalni grčki model, i moj kačket ima 2 ukrasna dugmeta sa svake strane vizira. Umesto upletene trake iznad vizira, ja sam se odlučila za rokerski izgled – dva reda metalnog lanca pružaju se iznad i ispod vizira i obavijaju ukrasnu dugmad.
[:en]Inspiration
This hat was inspired by the traditional Greek Fisherman Cap which has become popular again and can be seen around the city. Just like the original Greek model, my piece has two decorative buttons at the sides of the visor. Instead of the braid above the visor, I opted for a more rock ‘n’ roll look – two lines of metal chain stretch above and below the peak and go around the buttons.

Kačket se radi ukrug, odozgo nadole sa 2 niti prediva u 3 faze.
- Najpre se bojom A hekla pravilan kružni oblik koji predstavlja gornju ploču. Poslednji red gornje ploče radi se kontrastnim predivom – bojom B.
- Zatim se kružno hekla telo kačketa koje se postepeno sužava do obima koji će odgovarati obimu glave. Poslednja dva reda tela kačketa rade se visokim stubićima kontrastnim predivom, i poslednji red vst se presavija na spolja kako bi ta ivica bila dupla. Kasnije se po potrebi između ta 2 poslednja reda visokih stubića može uvući lastiš koji će dodatno skupiti obim kačketa kako bi bolje prianjao uz glavu.
- Poslednja faza je izrada vizira koji se kukiča niskim stubićima sa okretanjem.
Završna obrada podrazumeva prišivanje ukrasnih dugmadi i pričvršćivanje lančića kao dodatnog ukrasa.

The hat is completed in rounds, in 3 stages by holding 2 strands of yarn together.
- Firstly, you crochet the top of the hat in a circle using color A. The last round of the hat has contrasting yarn – color B.
- Secondly, with color A again you crochet the crown in rounds, and gradually decrease the number of stitches to fit the head measurements. You do the last 2 rounds of the crown in dc and using color B. The last round is then folded upwards and towards the right side so as to create a double edge. Later, if necessary, between these two last rounds of dc you can insert elastic band to additionally gather and decrease the circumference of the hat to fit your head.
- The last stage is completing the visor which you crochet in turns using sc.
The finishing touch concerns decoration with 2 buttons sewn on each side of the visor and attaching a double chain for extra embellishment.[:]
